Welcome to the Salsa In The Catskills Weekend. Salsa Picante Productions is bringing back the fun and excitement of Salsa Dance Weekends in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. Come spend a fun filled weekend with friends and family and enjoy all that Honors Haven Resort has to offer along with two nights of Salsa dancing to the exhilarating rhythms of 2 top NYC bands, Charansalsa and Frankie Vazquez Y Los Soneros Del Barrio. In addition to these two dynamic bands that represent what Salseros really love to dance to, we have two excellent DJ's, Superstar DJ Woody and DJ Harry T. spinning some of the best of today's and yesterday's Salsa tunes that will keep you dancing all night long.
On Saturday, we will also have several dance workshops from, none other than, one of New York City's top dance instructors and best kept secrets, Mr. Juan Portella.
A pool party with a pool side barbecue is also scheduled with live DJ music, dancing, swimming, volleyball, dominos, tennis, and golf or just relaxing by the pool listening to some of your favorite music.
At our evening events, we will not only have dancing to live music and excellent DJ's, but we will have a special dance performance by Juan Portella's Cache Dancers. So come join us for our 1st annual Salsa in the Catskills Weekend Spectacular. You will have the time of your life!
