Welcome to the Salsa In The Catskills Weekend Spectacular. Salsa Picante Productions is bringing back the glory days of Salsa Dance Weekends in the heart of the Catskill Mountains in upstate N.Y. Come spend a fun filled weekend with friends and family and enjoy all that Villa Roma Resort and Conference Center has to offer along with two nights of Salsa dancing to the exhilarating rhythms of 2 top NYC bands, Grupo Latin Vibe & Cuboricua. In addition to these two dynamic bands that represent what Salseros really love to dance to, we have two excellent DJ's, Superstar DJ Woody and DJ Harry T. spinning some of the best of today's and yesterday's Salsa tunes that will keep you dancing all night long.
Next year we will be opening up two additional dance halls which will feature Disco music in one, and a latin mix in the other including Bachata, Merengue, Freestyle, Dance, R&B music etc.. Whatever your taste in music is, we will make sure we have it. DJ Bobby Morales will be spinning the best Disco music in the Hustle room and DJ Jay Sol will be spinning in the latin mix room.
Over the weekend, we will also have several dance workshops from world renowned instructor, Addie Diaz. In addition to Addie Diaz we have world renowned Hustle instructor Lori Brizzi teaching several Hustle dance workshops. A pool party is also scheduled with live DJ music, dancing, swimming, volleyball, dominos, tennis, and golf or just relaxing by the pool listening to some of your favorite music. At our evening events, we will not only have dancing to live music and excellent DJ's, but we will have a special dance performance by the Addie-Tude Dancers.
